Plymouth Glass & Mirror Launches Food Drive to Support Thomaston Food Pantry
Community Invited to Donate Food and Household Items to Help Local Families
Thomaston, CT – Plymouth Glass & Mirror is proud to announce a community-wide food drive in support of the Thomaston Food Pantry. In response to increasing demand, we are calling on our neighbors, customers, and local businesses to contribute essential food and household items to help families in need.
The Thomaston Food Pantry has shared a list of high-priority needs, and we encourage donors to focus on the following items:
Current Food Needs:
- Baking Mixes: Cake, cookie, biscuit, and pancake mixes
- Tomato Products: Pasta sauce, canned tomatoes (diced, crushed, stewed, or whole)
- Rice & Rice Side Dishes: Pasta Roni or Rice-A-Roni style sides
- Canned Vegetables: Potatoes, beets, spinach, carrots, olives
- Coffee
- Condiments: Ketchup, mayo, vinegar, oil, BBQ sauce, etc.
Household Items Needed:
- Paper towels, toilet paper, and tissues
- Household cleansers, scrubbing sponges
- Laundry detergent and dish detergent
- Zippered baggies, foil, plastic wrap, non-stick spray, seasonings
- Pet supplies: cat food, litter, and dog food
Donations can be dropped off at Plymouth Glass & Mirror, located at 142 E. Main St, Thomaston, CT, 06787, during regular business hours. The food drive will run from October 1st to November 26th, and all collected items will be delivered directly to the Thomaston Food Pantry to assist local families in need.
